Stephen Fisher was a documentary film producer. His program
Wallace Stegner: A Writer's Life, first aired in 1996 on KCET Los Angeles. Fisher was involved in programs for public television broadcasting on various topics,
particularly the environment and San Francisco Bay Area history. Stegner narrated Fisher's film
The Wild Edge which focused on parks in the Bay Area. Fisher passed away in 2016.
Collection consists of audio and video recordings used in the production of Fisher's documentary on author Wallace Stegner,
including interviews with and readings by Stegner, interviews with his friends and family, and other footage (some possibly
from other projects).
