Background
Otto Kruger (1885-1974) was an American stage, film, and television actor. He made his Broadway debut in 1915 and quickly
became a matinee idol, with his stage career reaching its height in the 1930s. Kruger went on to appear in sound films beginning
with "Turn Back the Clock" (1933), but he would become best known for his roles in "Saboteur" (1942), and "Magnificent Obsession"
(1954).
