Description
The Adam Kirsch papers consists of writing notebooks, poetry drafts, correspondence, research notes, book manuscripts, newspaper clippings, book reviews, correspondence, and other materials from the poet and literary critic Adam Kirsch.
Background
Adam Kirsch is a poet, literary critic, and freelance writer. Kirsch was born in 1976 in Los Angeles, California. His father is Jonathan Kirsch, a lawyer and author. Adam Kirsch graduated from Harvard University and wrote articles for the New Yorker, the New Republic, Slate, and other publications. He also wrote two books of poetry and is on the seminar faculty of Columbia University's Center for American Studies.
