    Biography/Administrative History

    Abril (1923-1995) worked nights which allowed him to paint during his spare daytime hours. The artwork spanned 18 years.

    Two photograph albums, photographs. Mostly color photographs of paintings by Los Angeles artist Ben Abril depicting historic buildings and scenes in Los Angeles, primarily Bunker Hill.
