Captain A. F. Raynaud documents regarding C.A. Thayer (built 1895; lumber schooner, 3m) and Wapama (built 1915; steam schooner) (SAFR 18491, HDC 193) concerns the restoration of these two vessels, the latter known as TONGASS. The materials date from 1957 to 1959 and include correspondence and newspaper articles. The collection is available for research use without restriction.
