Description
Correspondence, prison records, receipts, legal records, notes, clippings, editorial drafts, and manuscripts of Donald Harley, 1976-2013. The materials primarily document Harley's trial and prison sentence, but also include materials related to his personal life and activism.
Background
Donald V.S. Harley is a longtime New York activist who volunteered for such groups as the Human Rights Campaign, Stonewall Foundation, and Heritage of Pride. Harley served time in prison for drug-related charges from 2012-2013.
