Abstract: There are several hundred fan letters sent to the actress in the mid-1940s, largely from U.S. servicemen, often requesting
a photograph or autograph. There is also some personal and family correspondence.

Jeanne Crain was an American actress active in film from 1943 to 1975. She was nominated for an Academy Award as best actress
for PINKY (1949).
