Biographical / Historical
Jakob Nemec was born July 25, 1922, in Milanowek, Poland. He resided in the Litzmannstadt (Lodz) Ghetto before being transported
to the Dachau Concentration Camp. Nemec arrived in Dachau on May 26, 1940; his identification number is 11966. The postal
deposit slip is dated November 11, 1944, with the amount of 40 Reichsmark from Litzmannstadt to Dachau.
