    Biography

    Fred K. Myton was an American screenwriter active from the mid-1910s to 1952. Over the course of nearly forty years he wrote scripts for more than 150 motion pictures.

    Collection Scope and Content Summary

    The Fred K. Myton papers span the years 1923-1931 and encompass less than one linear foot. The collection consists of a small number scripts, including three for the produced films THE ISLE OF LOST SHIPS (1929), KID GLOVES (1929), and TORMENT (1924). There is a small amount of correspondence, including two letters from Irving Thalberg and one from Darryl Zanuck.
