Series 1: Audiocassettes

Scope and Contents

Series 1: Boxes 1-4 include approximately 702 audiocassettes that were recorded by Eric Greenberg. Many of these appear to be recordings of broadcasts on satellite radio. Box 5 includes all other audiocassettes, including 30 commercially-produced audiocassettes.

Series 2: CD/DVD Binders

Scope and Contents

Series 2 includes binders with compact discs (CDs) and DVDs. There are approximately 205 commercially-produced CDs, 25 commercially-produced DVDs, 138 home-recorded CDs, and 71 home-recorded DVDs. Most of these are of rock albums.

Series 3: Compact Discs

Scope and Contents

Series 3 includes the remainder of the CDs, including approximately 71 commercially-produced CDs and 37 home-recorded CDs. It also includes all other CD-related materials including miscellaneous jackets and sleeves.

Series 4: DVDs

Scope and Contents

Series 4 includes the remainder of the DVDs, including approximately 38 commercially-produced DVDs and 9 home-recorded DVDs. It also includes all other DVD-related materials, including miscellaneous jackets and sleeves, and the one Blu-ray disc.

Series 5: VHS Tapes

Scope and Contents

Series 5 includes 8 commercially-produced VHS tapes and 265 home-recorded VHS tapes. Many of these are recordings of movies from the television. Some are recordings of televised concerts and other music-related broadcasts.

Series 6: Books and Magazines

Scope and Contents

Series 6 includes approximately 16 books and 37 magazines related to rock music. It also includes various paper documents.

Series 7: Equipment

Scope and Contents

Series 7 includes sound equipment: one videocassette recorder (VCR), a record player, and a CD player.
