Abstract: The Eric Greenberg Collection of Music features a variety of audio and video recordings from 1985-2010 of famous rock musicians,
with a special emphasis on Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, and Neil Young.

This collection includes audio and video recordings of rock music and rock musicians that were collected by Eric Greenberg.
The collection has strong focuses on Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, and Neil Young, but many other musicians
are represented. The recordings are presented in a variety of media, including audiocassettes, compact discs, VHS™ tapes,
DVDs, BluRay discs, and records. In addition, there is a videocassette recorder, a record player, and a compact disc player.
The collection also includes a small collection of books and magazines on topics related to rock music.
Greenberg was born in New York City in 1963, raised in Parsippany, New Jersey, and graduated from the University of Michigan
Business School in 1985. He lived most of his adult life in the Malibu area, and died on February 28, 2010.
The collection is open for research use.
Most of the materials require special equipment for usage.
The Eric Greenberg Collection of Music is arranged into seven series: 1. Audiocassettes; 2. CD/DVD Binders; 3. Compact Discs;
4. DVDs; 5. VHS Tapes; 6. Books and Magazines; 7. Equipment.

Series 1: Audiocassettes
Series 1: Boxes 1-4 include approximately 702 audiocassettes that were recorded by Eric Greenberg. Many of these appear to
be recordings of broadcasts on satellite radio. Box 5 includes all other audiocassettes, including 30 commercially-produced
audiocassettes.

Series 2: CD/DVD Binders
Series 3: Compact Discs
Series 3 includes the remainder of the CDs, including approximately 71 commercially-produced CDs and 37 home-recorded CDs.
It also includes all other CD-related materials including miscellaneous jackets and sleeves.
