The emphasis of the collection is on the critical reception of novels published by Curzon, 1974-1986.
Background
Daniel Curzon is the pseudonym of author Daniel P. Brown, born in 1938 in Litchfield, Illinois. He is a novelist, journalist and playwright whose fictional work often concerns gay protagonists struggling to cope within an environment defined by the hostility of anti-gay social entities and instititions. Before retiring he taught writing and literature at California State University, Fresno.
