Description
The 1907 Carnegie-built Foley Library houses a variety of historical collections and formats. Library monograph and periodical holdings are published and catalogued works on local and regional history, the Gold Rush, and more. Researchers will find a rich resource for examination of the history and status of mining, immigration, ethnic groups, and economic and social development in this California crossroads county and region.
