    Scope and Content

    This collection consists of correspondence, clippings, and the 1951 libretto, written by Lucille Fletcher, to Bernard Herrmann's tone poem Wuthering Heights, collected by Maurice and Virginia Heebner in the 1960s-1970s.
    Correspondence from Bernard Herrmann dates to the 1960s-1970s and is addressed to Maude Schmitgen, Heebner family members Maurice Heebner, Virginia Heebner, and Barbara Heebner.
    Clippings were collected by Maurice Heebner and pertain to the life and death of Bernard Herrman.
