This collection is comprised of a single item, a certificate issued by the D.P. (Displaced Persons) Camp of Feldafing Labor
Office. It is made out to Jakob Kalinski and identifies him as working in a labour group under the auspices of the UNRRA (United
Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration). It is dated November 4, 1946.
Background
Feldafing was the first Displaced Persons camp exclusively for Jewish refugees. The camp was located in the Bavarian town
of Feldafing, part of the district of Starnberg, in the American zone of occupation in Germany.
