Description
A collection of material related to the life and work of Edward Jerningham, English poet and dramatist.
Background
Edward Jerningham (1737?-1812) was an English poet and dramatist; he was the third son of Sir George Jerningham, 5th Baronet. Jerningham was educated in France and lived in Paris until 1761. The later years of his life were spent in London where he became acquainted with a large circle of literary, social, and political personages.
