Description
GLAAD clipped references to gays and lesbians in newspapers and magazines as part of “Media Watch,” an on-going project to
monitor and respond to media coverage. The subjects range from the Boy Scouts to gays in the military, and from reactions
to the motion picture Basic Instinct to the 1992 elections. There are also guidelines for responses to the news stories and
summaries of GLAAD’s reactions to each article.
