Description
Papers of award-winning poet Marsha Truman Cooper, including correspondence with other poets, manuscripts, broadsides, ephemera, chapbooks and serials (cataloged separately).
Background
Born in Modesto, California, Marsha Truman Cooper grew up in Patterson, California. Truman Cooper's father, Marvin Allen Truman, was stationed on the island of Saipan as a United States Army Air Corps service technician during World War II.
