Description
The materials in the Jean Eisinger files consist of two major series. The first is press releases of Nixon speeches, annotated
by the Presidential Documents Office to reflect the actual wording used by the President. The annotated press releases cover
1969-1972. The second series of documents in the collection is “White House Notices to the Press.” These “notices” were released
to the press regarding appointments, upcoming trips, the 1973 Inauguration, and daily excerpts of meetings and appointments
by the President and the First Lady. Also included in this series are “pool reports” or summaries of events, which were written
by members of the press corps.
