    Scope and Contents

    This collection consists of 15 sheet music arrangements and 3 vinyl LP records of American musician Johnny Rivers. These include the arrangements for the songs "Baby I Need Your Lovin'," "Positively 4th Street," "Better Life," "Brother Where Are You," "Right Relations," "Whiter Shade of Pale," "Mountain of Love," "Secret Agent," "Do What You Gotta Do," "Tune Smith," "Poor Side of Town," "Summer Rain," "Look to Your Soul," "Tracks of My Tears," and "California Dreamin'."

    Biographical / Historical

    Johnny Rivers (born 1942) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. His popular 1960s singles include "Memphis" (a Chuck Berry cover), "Mountain of Love" (a Harold Dorman cover), "The Seventh Son" (a Willie Mabon cover), "Secret Agent Man," "Poor Side of Town," "Baby I Need Your Lovin'" (a 1967 cover of the Four Tops single from 1964), and "Summer Rain."
