Description
This collection consists of the papers of University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts critical studies professor David James.
Background
David James is a critical studies professor at the University of Southern California in the School of Cinematic Arts. He has written Written Within and Without: A Study of Blake's Milton (1979); Allegories of Cinema: American Film in the 60s (1989); Power Misses: Essays across (Un)popular Culture (1996); The Most Typical Avant-Garde: History and Geography of Minor Cinemas in Los Angeles (2005); Rock 'N' Film: Cinema's Dance with Popular Music (2016); and Power Misses II: Cinema, Asian and Modern (2021).
