Description
The William J. Rockstroh papers consist of the Chief Engineer's logbook for the SS Sea Devil from November 1943 to March 1944, a US Coast Guard Merchant Marine engineering license exam booklet and a photograph of Mr. Rockstroh in his Merchant Marine uniform.
Background
William J. Rockstroh was the Chief Engineer of the SS SEA DEVIL from November 1943 to March 1944. The SEA DEVIL was a Merchant Marine cargo vessel operated by the American-Hawaiian Steamship company.
