Series l (boxes 1-2)consists of movie posters and movie promotional materials, including a program, a press release, and seal, of Hollywood movies mainly filmed in or pertaining to Monterey County, primarily in the 1940s and 1950s. Some movie titles include "Monterey" in the title although the movie was not filmed at Monterey. Others were filmed in Monterey or other locations. Series ll (container 3) Steinbeck Movie Posters also includes two Steinbeck commemorative postage stamp posters.
