This collection consists of scrapbooks, photographs, and clippings of American Canadian actress Norma Shearer (1902-1983).
Materials relate to Shearer's film career as well as her marriage to Irving Thalberg, trips to Great Britain, and Thalberg's
death in 1937.

Norma Shearer (1902-1983) was a Canadian American actress. She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for "The Divorcee" (1930).
