The Clerk-Recorder's main function is keeping the records for the County. The importance of this department lies in the historical
stability that is maintained by the preservation of records of civil activities. This collection consists of recorded marriage
documents that the Clerk-Recorder's office has given to the Yolo County Archives for preservation.

must be submitted in writing to the Archives. Permission for publication is given on behalf of the Yolo County Archives as
the owner of the physical items and is not intended to include or imply permission of the copyright holder, which must also
be obtained by the researcher.
