The Committee on Arts and Lectures organized lectures and performances for the UCSF community from 1939-1972. Today, UCSF
has Campus Life and Services with a branch, Arts and Events, dedicated to organizing cultural and social performances and
events for the UCSF community.

The Committee on Arts and Lectures organized lectures and performances for the UCSF community from 1939-1972. Collection contains
lecture transcripts, event programs, photographs and audiotapes. Includes materials contained in a scrapbook belonging to
Salvatore Pablo Lucia, lecture transcripts of talks given by Barnaby Conrad, Alfred R. Sumner, and Chauncey D. Leake (to name
a few), as well as photographs of various speakers such as photographer, Ansel Adams.
