The collection includes materials from Seaver College's Faculty Advisory Committee meeting minutes and agendas, salary discussions and comparisons, memorandums, reports, and budget documents. Items in the collection range from 1971 to 1996.

The Faculty Advisory Committee was a committee within the the Seaver Faculty Association (SFA) of Seaver College at Pepperdine University. SFA was voted into existence in 1995, as a new incarnation of its predecessor, the Faculty Organization of Seaver College (FOSC). The purpose of SFA was to provide a forum for faculty members to discuss academic and professional matters, communicate as a single body with the Pepperdine administration, and stay involved in the governance of Seaver College.
