Abstract: Leo Bradshaw was an
equine photographer who was contracted to take photographs of horse shows across the
country, but primarily in the Western United States. The collection contains photographs,
negatives, programs, and schedules from the various shows that Bradshaw attended; lists of
horses, owners, and riders; Bradshaw's notes and index cards; and his contractual
information.

Biographical / Historical
Leo Bradshaw was an equine photographer who lived in Northern Oregon. He was contracted to
photograph horse shows that primarily took place in the Western United States. Bradshaw was
born on November 27, 1935.
Scope and Contents
The collection contains photographs and negatives from equine photographer Leo Bradshaw;
programs and schedules from the various horse shows that he documented, primarily in the
Western United States; lists of horses, owners, and riders at the shows; Bradshaw's notes
and index cards; and his contractual information.
Arrangement
The collection is arranged chronologically when an event is identifiable.
Processing Information
Volunteers initially inventoried and arranged the collection in 2013 and 2014. The
collection underwent further processing and the finding aid was revised in 2018 by Rob
Strauss and Elainna-Marie Herrera. The collection number was changed from 2014.001 to
0095.
