Collection consists of personal office files of CSU, Sacramento Physical Education Professor James Bosco.
Background
James Salvatore Bosco (1927-2011) was born in Lawrence, MA. He received his BA in Physical Education, and later his MS (University
of Illinois) and PhD (University of Massachusetts) in Exercise Physiology. In 1971, he arrived at Sacramento State, where
he taught in the College of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. He earned many awards and published often, including
the book, "Measurement and Evaluation in Physical Education, Fitness, and Sports." He retired a faculty emeritus in 1991.
