States. The materials were collected by a house painter and seasonal postal worker who lived in Twentynine Palms, California.
Background
The materials in the collection were collected by a resident of Twentynine Palms, California along with 56 books on socialist
and labor topics. The collection was discovered by Cal Poly Pomona alumna Hilary Palmer when she purchased the collector's
house after his death.
