    Abstract: The collection consists of a wide range of ephemera pertaining to labor in the Bay Area, California and the nation. Dating from roughly 1900 to the present, the collection includes ephemera created by or related to labor unions, with large amounts of materials related to the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and the United Farm Workers; organizations such as the Communist Party and Industrial Workers of the World; and topics such asagriculture, World War II, the 1934 San Francisco General Strike, and women's employment; civic associations and activist groups; and social justice related groups and subjects. Types of ephemera include: contracts; reports; leaflets; pamphlets; newsletters; constitutions and bylaws; fliers; journals and journal articles; and newspaper clippings.
    Location: Materials are stored onsite.
