This collection contains issues of the "Journal of Black Psychology." It also includes one issue of "Journal of School Psychology,"
and "Chains and Images of Psychological Slavery."
Background
The "Journal of Black Psychology" was established in 1974 by the Association of Black Psychologists. The association was founded
in 1968 in San Francisco, California by Black Psychologists from around the country.
Restrictions
All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the Director of Archives
and Special Collections. Permission for publication is given on behalf of Special Collections as the owner of the physical
materials and not intended to include or imply permission of the copyright holder, which must also be obtained.
