    Biographical note

    Bruce McElderry was a faculty member in the English Department at USC, who published scholarly works on, among others, Thomas Wolfe and Max Beerbohm.
    Sir Henry Maximilian "Max" Beerbohm (1872-1956) was an English essayist, parodist, and caricaturist best known today for his 1911 novel "Zuleika Dobson". Bruce McElderry's biography was published in 1972.
