Description
The Temperance Broadsides Collection consists of broadsides printed by the National Temperance Society and Publication House, some on behalf of the Women's National Christian Temperance Union, all of which argue in favor of alcohol-free living. Broadsides in the collection were all part of numbered series, including "The Pint of Ale" (no. 24 of the Beer Series), "Close the Bars" (no. 22), and "What are You Doing?" (no. 6). They are undated, and consist primarily of text, with some embellishments. One broadside contains images.
