The Brown Family papers include photographs, an oral history, and notes on the Brown family genealogy. The bulk of the papers
are photographs documenting the Brown, Clark, and Watkins families, most of which are photographs of various social gatherings
around Palo Alto, California in the 1910s. There are also a number of photographs documenting horse racing, ranching, and
harvesting at a ranch in Woodland, California in the 1910s. The papers include a photograph album created by Fred Brown when
he stationed at Patterson Field, Ft. Campbell, Kahuku Army Airfield and Saipan during World War II.
