Background
L. Anthony Greenberg (1937-1993), also known as Tony Greenberg, graduated from the University of Southern California School
of Architecture in 1961. Beginning in 1962, Greenberg was a partner in the firm of Flores, Gelman & Greenberg, located in
West Los Angeles. After time spent traveling in the 1970s, he became a partner in Gelman & Greenberg in 1978. Some of his
colleagues included architects Gene Flores, Ellis Gelman, Ena Dubnoff, and Gary Scherquist (all USC architecture graduates).
Greenberg worked on residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects in locations such as Marina Del Rey, Venice,
Beverly Hills, Palm Springs, and Santa Monica, California, and in Sonora, Mexico. He was a member of the American Institute
of Architects.
