The scrapbook contains clippings, miscelleanous forms, train orders, clearance cards, register checks, correspondence about personnel matters, and employee timetables. There is also information about Martin's career, including his union activities with the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen, Order of Railway Conductors, Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, and Switchmen's Union of North America.
