Note

"These are older generation honor beads. By the 1980s, the large beads previously awarded for earning 10 beads in a craft category were discontinued and the older generation small beads became the new generation large beads, with a new smaller size bead. The colors have a significance which also changed slightly with the passing generations: tri-color for Citizenship, red for sports, turquoise for science, yellow for business, green for creativity."
