American Educational Research Association, and the National Society for the Study of
Education. Also includes correspondence, memos, and minutes, 1983-1989, pertaining to the
journal TEACHING AND TEACHER EDUCATION.

Professor of education and psychology at Stanford since 1962, co-director of the Stanford
Center for Research and Development in Teaching (1965-1968) and chairman of SCRDT's
Executive Board (1968- ).
