This series includes two short biographies of Hermle, newspaper clippings that mention Hermle, memorabilia related to Hermle's military involvement and to the University of San Diego, and a few pieces of general correspondence.

Garand and Truman R. Strobridge. Also included is a letter from Leo Hermle to F. C. Caldwell, retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel, Director of Marine Corps History, and author of the preface for the series.
