of Albert Jefferson Young (1841-1933) May 21 - Sept. 11, 1862. Record of his overland journey by wagon train from Council
Bluffs to California. The diary ends with the crossing of the Sierra Nevada. He settled eventually in Danville. Included also
in the volume are entries covering a camping trip to Yosemite (Aug. 28-Sept. 9, 1878; [13] p.) With this: genealogical information
about the Young family and related families.
