Abstract:

Two Civil War era holograph letters written by W. C. Holliday, chaplain of the 90th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. In one, written near Ooltewah, Tenn., he describes a trip to Chattanooga and seeing General William T. Sherman. In the second letter, written from Catoosa Springs, Ga., he describes battle skirmishes and the local area.
