Note:

Willard S. Davis was born in Sacramento, California on June 16, 1925. During World War II he served with the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific, and began his broadcasting career in 1948 at KTLA in Hollywood. Davis moved on to ABC-TV in San Francisco where he worked on "San Francisco Tonight" with Don Sherwood, and "Richfield Success Story."
Returning to Hollywood, Davis became an associate producer for such shows as "Lux Video Theater," "Matinee Theater," and "The Giselle MacKenzie Show." He subsequently produced the "Standard School Broadcast" for the Standard Oil Company in San Francisco, and in 1965 moved back to Hollywood, where he became associate producer and head writer for "Death Valley Days," and also wrote scripts for "Bonanza" and "T.H.E. Cat."
In 1972 Davis retired from the entertainment field and joined the Sacramento real estate firm of Artz and Cook. He died in Sacramento on June 30, 2007.
