Photographers mostly unidentified; 2 photos bear imprint of Cruces y Ca [Cruces y Campa], Mexico City. Others attributed to Cruces y Campa.
Portrait 26 (filed as Indians of Central America) inscribed, in Spanish: Indians of Nicaragua, and signed Henry L. Marindin, U.S. Coast Survey. An additional inscription on verso, in the same hand, is dated 25 March, 1865. This card mount is thinner than the others in the set and appears to be earlier.
