Per seller's correspondence: Robert Vere Scott was born in Brisbane, Queensland in 1877. Arrived in California in 1916. Worked
as a photographer first in Oakland, then in 1917 in San Francisco, where he would remain in practice unitl at least 1936.
Worked chiefly in the panoramic format. Also known as Rovere Scott.
