and '30s; establishment of San Francisco School of the Arts of the Theater; friendship with artists and writers of the Bay
Area and New York, including Beniamino Bufano, George Sterling, John and Llewelyn Powys, Genevieve Taggard, Robinson and Una
Jeffers, Lincoln Steffens, Fremont Older, Ralph Stackpole and John Steinbeck; her poetry and that of C.E.S. Wood. Copies of
