Sonora, Mexico [and southern Arizona?]. The letters, mostly addressed to Procurator General Joseph Ferrer in Mexico City,
contain reports providing insight into missionary life on the far frontier of Pimería Alta. They also contain requests for
food supplies, including chocolate, sugar and wine, paper, books, liturgical accoutrements, shoes, and clothing.
