[Photograph albums documenting a couple's travels in Oregon and elsewhere]

Travel photograph albums containing snapshot views documenting the early 1950s travels of an unidentified couple, likely a man of Anglo descent and a woman of Asian descent, each of whom appear in a few images. The bulk of the locations depicted are in Oregon: Mt. Hood, Oregon coast, Columbia River (including many scenes of Native Americans fishing at Celilo Falls), Painted Hills, Wallowa Mountain, Hell's Canyon, Pendleton (with many scenes of the Pendleton Roundup), Crater Lake, Pinnacles, Redmond, lava beds near Bend, Crooked River Gorge, Tumalo Falls, Salt Creek Falls, a geyser at Lakeview, Oregon Caves, and sand dunes. Other locations depicted include Canada (Glacier National Park, Niagara Falls and Quebec), Mexico (Taxco and Acapulco), Washington D.C., Fort Henry, the Statue of Liberty, and Florida. Given the illustrations of Japan and Korea on the album covers, and a few images of the man posing atop an early concrete version of the U.S. Marines Iwo Jima memorial in Washington D.C., it is possible that he is a veteran of World War II or the Korean War.
