Simeon Stivers (July 23, 1826-February 7, 1898) was an early Mormon pioneer to California. He emigrated to California in 1846
aboard the ship, "Brooklyn." He was a member of the Mormon group of passengers headed by Sam Brannan. Together with his uncle,
Earl Marshall, he owned a ranch covering approximately 600 acres in what is now Fremont, California. Simeon Stivers married
Anna M. Jones, whose family emigrated to California with Mormons from Nauvoo, Illinois via Salt Lake City and San Bernardino,
California. They had 8 children.
Patricia Branstetter is the great-great-granddaughter of Simeon and Anna Stivers.
