Nuclear landscapes: forty-four photographs and Trinity panorama

Digital prints of photographic images taken in the 1980s at various nuclear weapons test sites, including Nevada Test Site, Hanford Site and the Marshall Islands. Photographs document the lasting impact of the production facilities and bomb tests on the surrounding natural and built environments. Some specific locales and features include Yucca Flat, Frenchman Lake (Frenchman's Flat) and Sedan Crater (of Nevada Test Site); Runit Island and Kidrenen Island (of Enewetak Atoll); Aerkijlal Island, Aomen Island, Nam Island, Eneu Island and Lele Island (of Bikini Atoll). Also includes a panoramic photograph depicting the Trinity Site (White Sands Proving Ground, near Alamogordo, N.M.).

From colophon insert: Archival photographs printed by Peter Goin in the 1980s were scanned, processed, and printed by Scott Hinton, Research Associate in photography at the University of Nevada, Reno, under Peter Goin's supervision and interpretation.
All prints numbered, dated and signed by the photographer.

Includes title sheet and colophon sheet inserts in ffALB box.
